Eighteen Senior Fall Student-Athletes Awarded a Varsity Letterman Jacket
Williamson honored 18 senior Fall student-athletes for participating in varsity athletics all three of their years at Williamson. Each member earned a special Varsity Letterman jacket for their efforts. They were presented with their jacket in a special assembly in front of the entire student body.
"We are extremely proud and extremely thankful for our Fall student-athletes for the amount of time, effort and dedication they have put in over their three years to earn this very special jacket. It has not always been easy for them, but they have been great representatives of Williamson both on and off the field of play and we are extremely grateful for their efforts," shared longtime Williamson Director of Athletics Dale Plummer.
"It is a huge commitment to play a varsity sport at Williamson. Our guys are in class for eight hours each day and then have to go to practice. They have games on the weekends and over breaks and yet, these 18 student-athletes were more than willing to make the commitment. We could not be more thankful they did so. The ceremony was our chance to say thank you to them," closed Plummer.
