Overwatch Gold Releases Spring Match Schedule
The 2025 Williamson Overwatch Gold squad released the Spring schedule Tuesday night. It is an ambitious slate the second-year head coach Nick Mariani hopes will lead to a play-off berth-and then some.
"It is an outstanding schedule. It will be tough, no doubt, but our guys are ready and I fully expect us to make a serious play-ff run," shared Mariani.
Williamson kicks things off this Friday, February 7 in an 8:00 P.M. tilt against Ramapo College -Red. According to Mariani, that will be a challenge right off the bat.
"We hit the ground running, and things don't let up from there. That is what we want. In order to get to the top, you have to take down those top teams in your path. We can't take them down unless we are playing them, so we would much rather play things that way."
The team is a solid mixture of new and returning players and one that again, Mariani says is indeed up for the challenge.
"This is what we have been working for. Our guys are pumped and we can't wait to get at it," closed Mariani.
