After falling behind 6-0 in a disastrous start to the game, Williamson managed to forge their way back into the game. Down 7-2, the Mechanics used a rarely seen back-to-back-to-back home run explosion from Josh Illing, Cody Grande and Joe Kelly to pull to within 7-5. They would eventually fall behind 9-5 before rallying with four runs late to send the game into extra innings. The Centurions then added two runs in the second extra frame and survived another rally by Williamson to pull things out, 11-9.
The loss dropped Williamson to 8-4 on the year and knocked them out of sole possession of first place in the Eastern States Athletic Conference.
