Williamson took to Virginia for the second straight Saturday, and came home with a hard-fought tie with host Patrick Henry College on Saturday.
The hosts, coming off a victory over ESAC conference member Bucks County Community College, split with Williamson last year, and were geared up to try to take down the Mechanics once again this year, but a Marco Karasavas goal, five save by goalie Aaron O'Keeffe and stout defensive play when it counted, all made sure that that would be the case on Saturday.
Williamson is now 1-0-1 on their three-game road trip. The final game of that swing will be a touch one, as the Mechanics take on defending ESAC champions Central Penn College on Tuesday in a 3:30 P.M. start. Williamson heads into that contest with a 3-1-1 record on the year.
