After having defeated Patrick Henry in Virginia earlier in the year, one might have expected Williamson to once again defeat the Sentinels at home on Saturday night. The problem for Williamson was that someone forget to tell Patrick Henry that, as they used a three-goal outburst in the second half to break a 2-2 halftime tie and roll to a 5-3 win over the Mechanics.
Patrick Henry set the tone early, and the grabbed the lead at the 17:59 mark to go up 1-0. Zachary Bosak would answer quickly for Williamson and then Dan Maroney would give Williamson its only lead of the game at the 10:48 mark off a blast from 30-yards out, with Bosak getting the assist. Unfortunately for Williamson, that lead was short lived, as less than a minute later Patrick Henry tied things up to send it to the break at 2-2.
Williamson seemed to have no answers for the Sentinels in the second half, as they scored early on to go up 3-2 and the added two more goals within a four-minute span later to go up 5-2 and ice the game, giving them their first win over Williamson in school history. Zach Bosak added his second goal on a penalty kick late to make it 5-3.
Williamson has a tall task ahead of itself on Tuesday, as they will host a fired-up Penn State Mont Alto team on Senior night at Williamson. The Mechanics need a win that night or on the road Thursday at Manor College to finish with a winning record for the first time since 2015.
