On a day when Williamson played host to defending ESAC champion Central Penn College, things started out well for Williamson, as they took a 1-0 lead in the first inning of the opener. It was all Central Penn from then on though, as they scored 11 straight runs to win the game 11-1 and then tacked on 13 more runs in game two to come away with a 13-5 win and sweep of the Mechanics.
Cody Grande had Williamson's lone RBI in the opener, and he added another RBI hit in the closing game. Phil Martini came on in relief during game two and did a stellar job of slowing down the Knight's potent offense.
The losses drop Williamson to 10-4 on the year and 3-3 in the ESAC. Central Penn moves to 14-6 overall and 6-0 in the ESAC.
