The Williamson basketball team saw their five game winning streak snapped, as they lost to powerful host Penn State Scranton in the opening round of the PSU Scranton tournament. Down by 11 at half, Williamson could get no closer than seven in the second half in a 99-69 loss. Ronald Johnson had 17 points, Semaj Chery added 15 and Rob Wiley chipped in with 10 in a losing effort.
An undermanned Mechanics squad struggled from the start against Bucks and was never able to recover in a 79-68 loss. A'Jaad White had a double-double with 15 points and a whopping 19 rebounds, while Liam Rardin and Semaj Cherry led the team with 16 points. Ronald Johnson added 14 points, seven rebound and three assists.
Williamson gets back in action on Tuesday, November 19 at home against a very tough Harrisburg Area Community College squad.
