Mechanics Use Dominate First Half to Take Down Sussex

The Williamson lacrosse team took to the road on Sunday afternoon, as they traveled to Newton, New Jersey to take on host Sussex County College.  The Mechanics, who had not played a game in over a week, showed no signs of rust, as they raced to a 13-1 halftime lead and cruised from there on the way to an 18-3 win.

Seamus Bohannon led the way for Williamson on offense, as he scored a game high five goals and also added two assists.  Copper Conroy added four goals and two assists, while Chase Staley added three goals and two assists on the afternoon.  Anthony Zollo, Rob Wagner and Hayden McGinnis all added two goals apiece, while Wagner also had three assists.  Jack Welsh had seven saves in net, while C.J. McCue added two.

The win moves Williamson to 2-1 on the year.  They next host Mercer County College on Wednesday night in a 7:00 P.M. start.
