Williamson No Match for Two Time Defending NJCAA National Champions
Taking on two-time defending National Junior College Athletic Association nation champion Harford Community College proved to be too much for Williamson, as the visitors raced out to a 14-0 halftime lead and never looked back in a 21-3 win over the Mechanics.
Harford led 6-0 at the end of the first quarter and tacked on eight more second period goals to go up 14-0 half.
Williamson finally got on the board with back-to-back goals by Matt Dickinson, one of an assist by Hayden McGinnis, but Harford's offensive proficiency proved to be far too much for the Mechanics.
Dickinson would then add a third goal, assisted by Hayden McGinnis to close out the scoring for Williamson.
The loss drops Williamson to 4-3 on the year. They are off until next Sunday, April 6 in a tri-meet with Rowan and Millersville Universities beginning at 12:00 PM
