Williamson used solid pitching and defense as well as timely hitting to defeat Delaware County Community College 7-4 in the opening game of Wednesday's doubleheader.
Phil Martini pithed a solid four innings of relief, while Cody Grande and Jacob Naumann hit RBI singles to give Williamson a lead they would never relinquish in the third inning, while Michael Krakovitz added an insurance RBI double in the sixth to give Williamson their sixth win in a row.
