Mechanics bounce back to win the nightcap over Penn State Wilkes Barre, 10-3

Josh Illing and Brandon Fredericksdorf had two RBI hits late to break open a close game and lea Williamson to a 10-3 second game triumph over Penn State Wilkes Barre.

Trailing 3-2 in the fifth inning, Williamson managed to plate two runs in the bottom of the firth to go up 4-3.  They then broke the game wide open in the bottom of the sixth, as they batted around to put the game out of reach.

Williamson got an outstanding pitching performance from senior Kyle Marshall, who did a great job of holding the Lions in check for most of the game. Freshman Aiden McHugh relieved Marshall in the 5th and looked fantastic in relief, not allowing a run in 2 2/3 innings of relief.

The Mechanics get right back in action, weather permitting, at home on Wednesday against Manor College in a 1:00 P.M. ESAC doubleheader.
