Overwatch Gold Dominates St. Bonaventure in Opening Round Play-off Action

The Williamson Overwatch Gold team obliterated each of their opponents during the Fall regular season.  Nothing changed in the first round of the NECC Emerging league play-offs, as they dominated St. Bonaventure from start to finish by a score of 3-0 to advance to the second round.

As far as who their opponent will be in the second round, the Mechanics are awaiting the results of the November 21 match-up of Hood College versus Kings College.  Williamson easily dismantled Hood College during the regular season.  They have yet to play Kings.

The Bonnies tried a few different approaches in their match-up against Williamson, but nothing would work.  Every move they made, Williamson had a counter to, and they were then able to turn things in their favor.  Williamson, who was never seriously challenged during the match, has yet to drop a single map all season long, shutting out each opponent so far.

Williamson will take on the winner of Hood vs. Kings on Thursday night, November 30 at a time to be determined.
